Galena is the first town you drive through when heading west on U.S. Route 66 through Kansas. Gearhead Curios, known for Route 66 curios, artwork for the Gearhead, and a place to gather and share stories, received a $12,500 Tourism Attraction Grant in 2024 to help bring more tourists to town.
