Global Resources

The Global Resources sub-division plays an active role in advancing the state’s economic development objectives by cultivating and maintaining resources that bolster Kansas’ participation in international commerce. The team keeps an eye on global economic and political trends that may affect companies based in Kansas and strategically crafts international approaches to drive the state’s economic goals forward.

Collaborating with local communities, economic development organizations, businesses and educational institutions across Kansas, Global Resources works to address their needs and interests in key areas.

FUkraine at the UN: A Conversation with Ambassador Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations H.E. Mr. Sergiy Kyslytsya Tuesday November 12, 5:00pm

Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics, Simons Media Room
Ambassador Kyslytsya will discuss his efforts on behalf of Ukraine at the United Nations and on the world stage as his country defends itself against the full-scale invasion launched by Russia over two years ago. He will describe his remarkable journey from Kyiv to KU, and from there to a prominent career as one of Ukraine’s leading diplomats. The Ambassador will also respond to questions from the audience. The conversation will be moderated by Erik Scott, John P. Black Professor of History and Director of KU’s Center for Russian, East European & Eurasian Studies.
