The Kansas Office of Broadband Development (KOBD) hit the road these past 8 weeks to hear from Kansas on internet connectivity in your neighborhood. A quick thank you to the more than 500 people, 26 locations and staff that traveled more than 14,0000 miles to help us build the future of the Internet in Kansas.

From these sessions we were able to hear from Kansans regarding their lived experiences with Internet access, availability, public access, inclusive design, adoption, speeds, safety, privacy, digital skills training, devices, and much more. Upon gathering this data, a report was created to include recommendations from our partners at the Public Policy and Management Center (Wichita State University). The report is based on survey data and first-person narratives and will be used, along with other collected data, to develop the Kansas Digital Equity Plan. Recommendations in the report are from the Public Policy and Management Center and may not be reflected in the final plan.
