The Made in Kansas program is designed to showcase Kansas-made products and provide those companies with a verified stamp of assurance for use in promotional activities. Participation is free.
To join the Made in Kansas program, a business must utilize manufacturing in the production process and meet one additional criterion:
The Kansas Department of Commerce reviews and approves applications. Other approval considerations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. There is no fee to participate in the Made in Kansas program.
All participating companies are required to maintain good standing with state and do not owe any undisputed, delinquent local, state, or federal taxes. Companies must certify annually that they continue to meet the membership criteria under which they were approved.
Eligibility will be determined by the Kansas Department of Commerce. Agricultural and food producers that are eligible for the From the Land of Kansas program do not qualify.
From the Land of Kansas is a trademark program designed to promote and celebrate agricultural experiences and products grown, raised, or produced in Kansas.
